Parents Supporting Educational Excellence (PSEE) Congratulates Maryland’s 2025–2027 Purple Star Designees

Maryland is rolling out the red carpet for schools that go above and beyond to support military-connected students. Through the Purple Star School Program, several schools have earned this special honor for the 2025–2027 cycle. These schools help ease the stress of transitions, relocations, and deployments by providing real resources and a welcoming environment for military families.

To get the Purple Star, schools must check off several boxes—from assigning a military liaison to offering student-led support and maintaining a helpful resource page for families. It’s all about creating a smooth landing for students who are always on the move.

2025–2027 Purple Star Schools, by district include:

Starting off on the right foot not only helps your child adjust but also sets a positive tone for the entire year.
